KRIYA Institute believes that it is valuable for all ketamine clinicians to use brief formal measures with their ketamine patients. This is important both for tracking each patient’s clinical progress, and also for data collection purposes. In the future, this data could be de-identified and aggregated from multiple sites to identify new clinical indications for ketamine treatment, to apply for FDA approval for generic ketamine for depression, or to support medical insurance coverage for ketamine treatment.
KRIYA Institute is recommending the following set of clinical measures for ketamine treatment. Each measure was selected because of its reliability and validity, clinical utility and ease of use, accepted use in research, and availability in the public domain.
