KRIYA Institute is proud to present…
KRIYA Ketamine Conference 2016
November 12 & 13
9:30 am – 6:00 pm
The Nueva School
Hillsborough Campus – 6565 Skyline Blvd – Hillsborough, CA 94010
OBJECTIVES
– The purpose of this meeting is to help more people.
– To that end, the purpose of this meeting is to discuss ways of using ketamine as a treatment for depression (and other psychiatric disorders), and/or as an adjunct to psychotherapy.
– Ketamine treatment has medical, psychological, and psycho-spiritual components; all of these aspects will be addressed in this meeting. The legal and logistical issues related to working with ketamine will also be discussed.
– This is a multi-disciplinary meeting that aims to bring clinicians together from different specialities to share what we know about working with ketamine, and to help each other provide the highest level of care to our patients.
SETTING & FORMAT
The KRIYA Ketamine conference is a meeting for experienced clinicians and researchers in a beautiful, secluded setting. It is a hybrid between a traditional medical conference and a round table discussion. We will have space to teach each other about working with ketamine and share our observations and questions. This event has a casual and cooperative feeling by design, and registration will be capped at 50 people. The program will consist of semi-formal presentations (up to 18 speakers), panel discussions, and group discussions. There will be an ambitious agenda similar to last year’s event, but with a great deal of new material. If you would like to see what is on the agenda, please go to the Schedule page.
WHO MAY ATTEND?
This conference is geared toward clinicians who have substantial experience working with ketamine to treat depression (or other medical, psychiatric, or psychological problems), and researchers who are investigating a closely related topic. This conference may be of particular interest to clinicians working in the following areas: Psychiatry, Anesthesiology, Emergency Medicine, Addiction Medicine, Family Medicine, Urology, and other Mental Health providers.
A certain number of seats will be reserved for clinicians who wish to learn about working with therapeutic ketamine, e.g. residents, graduate students, and clinicians who are in the process of adding ketamine services to their practices. Other people who have interest in this topic will be included as space permits. Please note that this event will not include introductory level material. If you are looking for an Introduction to Therapeutic Ketamine, please see our other events.
